The world is changing very fast. Global warming is a real world
issue and the inhabitants of the entire globe will likely feel it’s effects.
The polar bears will be some of nature’s first animals to feel the impact as
the ice packs and glaciers melt.
This new book about polar bears is about two special bears named Glacia and Snow Glow who are different from other bears of the great far north. They want to see the world, make note of it’s special qualities, and bring back what they see to their home land. Then they want to share their findings with the world.
Snow Glow and Glacia knew that the world their parents had known before they were born was changing forever. They knew that they would have to change too in order to survive in a world that was going through changes like global warming and other things.
Snow Glow said reflectively and in a low and serious voice, “ This earth is perfectly good. It needs to be loved, taken care of, respected, and treated well by all of the people on it. People need to be governed to not destroy
earth; as they exit the earth in rockets they repeatedly destroy the atmosphere every time making it thinner and thinner with each launch.
For a few dollars, paper money, in the name of profit, the precious earth is being sold out and trashed, made useless by radioactive storage rods that leak into the ground and eventually the ground water. The water and land will become so sick that food will likely be rare to find and barely edible when it is…Unless something is done now to stop the profit mongers out to get a quick buck at the expense of humanity and the inhabitants of the earth, and earth itself.
Who would permit the destruction of any being, especially such a critical and crucial one as Mother Nature, Mother Earth, without due cause? Nobody in their right sense that’s who!
People are killing Mother Nature, the very nurturing place that sustains all earth inhabitants, maybe that’s why scientists are trying to explore other planets so avidly, so they can go there when they’ve ruined this one completely and do it to those ones too. So people spend trillions and trillions of dollars and will continue to do so in order to send space craft out to see where to send people to live. For all that cost and people spending the money on it, why don’t they do the right thing, and clean up the earth they have.
In America fracting for natural gas is a major problem where millions of gallons of water is blasted at rock to let out natural gas reserves within. The water and everything else in sight is contaminated and made useless without major cleanup efforts and great cost; which counters any gain in getting the natural gas in the first place. Oh the things that are going on for profit in the world! Whole mountain tops are being sliced off for minerals and trees. In fact whole mountains are being denuded of trees altogether all around the world.
We want to spread the word to all living creatures that our world is precious, fragile, and in need of care and love from everyone. There’s just so many inhabitants, of all kinds, and especially people everywhere! They are taking down trees and making farms that are usually not working, and then the land goes fallow and bad. The forest that was good is now bad land and useless because the farmers don’t know how to make the land remain and sustain as good farmable soil. In the meantime the forests have all but gone.
When humans care about the earth and help to take care of it, the world will be a healthy place for everyone!"
But we have our own set of concerns here in Alaska with off shore drilling about to launch any time now. That can devastate the land, mess up the aquamarine and underwater systems on land and sea! Did you notice the tar on the beaches that got stuck on our paws when we were in Alaska a while back when the pipe lines were leaking like the leak all the time? The tar like stuff is toxic and nasty!
Healthy World!

Two Nature Stories~ 'The Lady Who Lives in a Tree House' And
'Wildflowers' are both wonderful stories to expand the mind and develop the
heart in thoughtfulness and love towards earth trees and fields. Trees and
fields will be shrinking as populations grow. There needs to be a protection of
these resources and a sustainable program so that they will always continue to
thrive among earth's inhabitants so that these precious elements will not
vanish forever from the face of the earth. Trees are a great source of oxygen
for earthlings. Without them the world would be quite void of a most vital part
of what so many of earth inhabitants need to survive and thrive.
Laurel's wisdom remain, "Healthy Earth Healthy Inhabitants!"
It's that simple.

The Nimiipuu, Nez Perce, are a large population of tribal
members living in North America. They have a social system that is important to
the whole group welfare. The legends and stories of the Nimiipuu are preserved
from generation to generation by word of mouth for as long as the people can
remember. The elders are the ones who tell the stories and legends, and it is
very important to keep the stories as accurate as possible, for the future
generations depended on the accuracy of the stories for their beliefs, lives,
traditions, and rituals. Dances came before it was time for the stories and
legends to be told…Every story and legend was important to the people for
survival and developing character and strength in the tribe. Survival of the individual
and the entire tribe could depend on it.

Laurel is an advocate for wildlife and nature for it is these innocent creations that can't speak for themselves to better their circumstances on this earth. The animals and plants need protection just as humans do for healthy living and longevity.
