John and Laurel are brother and sister, John is older than Laurel by nearly two years. They live with their Mama and Daddy in Topanga Canyon, a coastal mountain range in southern California. Spring is early in Topanga Canyon every year. The mornings start out cool, and heat up rapidly. Laurel and John love springtime in the canyon. The green lush grasses are bright and look to be the color of neon light green as the sunlight touches patches here and there not hidden by oak and evergreen trees near John and Laurelโ€™s home. With spring came Easter Break, and this meant a holiday from the rigmarole of school and studies. This is a true story and account of one fine Easter dayโ€ฆ
